I agree with the November release but we just need to trust the process. I'd imagine the next few months she'll be prioritising the European market and building up her brand which could be huge for her touring wise.

Delta gets a bad rep in Australia (as do most local artists until they hit it big internationally) but I am so happy to see Delta get another international moment of such a high scale. No surprise, she looked and sounded phenomenal across this performance and she's already getting glowing reviews.

She truly annihilated the competition in the last 30 seconds. She deserves this win. Europe better get behind her. They have no idea how lucky they are to be in her presence.

Finally the rest of the world gets a taste of Delta in her second wind

Not according to Delta. There was an article where she stated that she was going to start work on an album after she got married.

No that's true. She may have said she was starting AN album after getting married but several times during promotion for BOTH Back To Your Heart and Hearts On The Run she kept referring to them being the start of the next chapter and having other tracks she had worked on but need to finish the album. This was BEFORE the wedding. She also said all the tour and getting to go to so many different places was causing her to delay finishing that album.

I believe there are two separate albums.

i agree. I think that BTYH/HOTR were meant for a more "pop-rock" record, and Pure will be more pop. I do think she started Pure from scratch after the wedding.

I recall her stating she was beginning a new chapter but never referring to an album for those songs. In a December 2024 article from Rolling Stone Australia, all that was mentioned was:

From each performance, she's drawing "inspiration from the crowds" and "taking it into the studio."

They were both definitely part of a scrapped album. I've still got a copy of the email she sent out just before the release of HOTR. She referenced the song quite a bit in the email. Here's a quote:

"Gone are the days when we wait 5 or 6 years between albums. I cant tell you how excited i am to get this music done wrapped in a bow and out in the world. I feel like we're going to have lots of fun with this one..... colours, shapes, sounds. Tunnnnessss. Haha. Yes I am covering the song titles in the photo and yes i am doing my best to get this to you as soon as humanly possible! no time to wait :)"

I don't know how to post photos but the track titles are blurred out in the pic. I was so excited when she mentioned we wouldn't be waiting six years anymore between album releases. That didn't last long 😂

I really hope she does a full production tour for the album in Australia. To date her biggest production was the Bridged Over Troubled Dreams Tour and she didn't bother to give the one an official concert movie/DVD. Hopefully this era will have one.

The last days I have been listening through her discography and I really have to give props to her/her labels. Literally every bonus track bside is on streaming. Many times its a STRUGGLE listening to Y2K artists old work, that hasn't been on an album.

But she has everything online and uploaded as bonus tracks to singles. It's so much fun with EVERYTHING available

That's next for me. My favorite B-Sides or bonus track so far are Take Me Home and Never Fades Away.
