This interview with RetroPop magazine in September 2023 for the release of Back To Your Heart references a new album RETROPOPDelta Goodrem 'fired up' as she launches into a new era:...Ahead of her first headline tour of the UK and Europe and the launch of her eighth studio album, Delta Goodrem celebrates 20 years of hits and reveals there's plenty still to come! She also mentioned the album to fans on the set of the video for Back To Your Heart.

No that's true. She may have said she was starting AN album after getting married but several times during promotion for BOTH Back To Your Heart and Hearts On The Run she kept referring to them being the start of the next chapter and having other tracks she had worked on but need to finish the album. This was BEFORE the wedding. She also said all the tour and getting to go to so many different places was causing her to delay finishing that album. I believe there are two separate albums.

They were part of a planned album though!

Knowing Delta, she will probably be touring the hell out of Europe before the album to keep momentum. She knows what she is doing. This isn't 2006 where she could release the album in June and then carry on promo once the album is out. We all know that all album campaigns are front load nowadays so you need at least 6 months between lead single and album release to get 2-3 more singles out before leaving the album to tour. Then announce a deluxe edition that never materialises (*cough*Sophie Ellis Bextor*cough*)

Fingers crossed she follows through with a deluxe for SuperBloom as the deluxe for That!Feels Good! was planed then abandoned. The two digital deluxe editions are great additions.

I'd guess the acoustic versions of the tracks performed at Q&A's An outside chance that Body Count & One Hot Second May appear as they were registered at the same time as other Jon Shave tracks that made the album.
