I'd worry more about Katy first surpassing Ariana, Shakira, Enya, Pink, and Aretha Franklin globally before she can surpass Gaga

According to UMG's latest press release (which is also included on Gaga's official Spotify page), Gaga has 110M album sales and 175 billion global streams. Katy is not even close to that number. I'd trust UMG and not Wikipedia but you do you

They have similar stats but Gaga is the bigger cultural force and is more respected in the industry. (and also makes the better music)
