We always talk about summer songs like Espresso, Golden…

And also some winter hits, normally the ones released late in a year like Houdini, Kill Bill, Adore You…

But what about Spring hits? Do they exist, or are they just songs that long to be the song of the summer? And what about fall hits?

Basically songs that have most of their run and peak happen within those 3 months, even if they stay around long after that

I don't think so, necessarily. To me, "spring hits" are precursors for songs that are going to take off over the summer months.

I can definitely think of some. Born This Way by Gaga, Rather Be by Clean Bandit. But yeah they seem rare

It will stick around but it's most likely already peaked
