Why did Endless Summer Vacation flop even with Flowers on it? Was Flowers a fraudulent "hit" song?!

Amazing album!

The singles were eaten out by Flowers. Usually that happens when a juggernaut single like Flowers, it overshadows everything else.

I'd say it was a moderate success, especially for her standards. She has not been an album seller since her youth.

Miley's career trajectory is so interesting, she's somehow always relevant but her chart performance is completely random.

ESV had a few cute bops but I feel like the album was fully overshadowed by "Flowers."

It was successful in the same vein as Mayhem with most streams coming from just one song.

Honestly the album lacked more songs in the vein of Flowers, also Flowers is one of those larger than life type of songs that end up overshadowing whatever you release right after it.

Flowers is genuinely the worst song on there.

because the album sucked and was a clear Grammy-bait project (which worked so good for her) but there's absolutely no replay value to be found for 2/3 of this album. Thankfully she course corrected with SB but yeah, wow. Not to mention Flowers was an obvious Natalie Don't by RAYE duplicate so she had to get her lick back eventually...

I was hyped for the album but it was pretty boring... especially after Plastic Hearts. It's not terrible, but I don't find myself wanting to listen to it.

I played that album to the ground and it had some good bops. Flowers was just too big and it was going to overshadow all the other singles.
