I mean basically, yeah ddd.

He was always pro-Israel (like most liberals pre-10/07) and behaved like a reactionary but he was also a popular figure in PA who had already won statewide yet also was a 2016 Bernie supporter who supported things like progressive immigration reform and Medicare For All, a pseudo-local celebrity anchored by his incredibly charming and even more progressive wife. Like if Giselle Fetterman ran for Congress today, I'd likely support her ddd.

But though to be clear, while I think progressives rallying around him early did give him momentum (and killed Kenyatta's chances of gaining traction), he also did…..win like every county and won over 50%+ of the vote in the primary. Progressives got behind him easily but he really did beat Lamb just off of normie PA Dem support.

He needs to be replaced but Lamb should be the last person trying to do so.

i personally voted for him for him because of his persona at the time/bernie affiliations and as you said before most of his platform was great (but obviously bullshit as time has shown us). also agreed as to giselle if she ever ran for office, i think she has great politics.

lamb is nothing and imo stands no chance in pennsylvania, he's neither a libbed up ancient relic who was born here or spent time here as a child like biden or hillary, nor is he a gen x douche liberal shapiro-type. not to say that any of those people are any good, they all suck, but as far as a democratic moderate goes, lamb is just not the kind of candidate who wins the pa senate (kinda like mcginty in 16).
