  1. These endless stories for three years on "stabilizing CBS News" are such exhausting BS, only continuing to be written as if change is possible by reporters working for other outlets under Viacom. The call is coming from inside the house. Namely, David Ellison's personal Eva Braun, Bari Weiss.
  2. Didn't when she was the original Money Honey. Now that she's cashed in on the MAGA movement she can't come back so I guess this was the next logical step
  3. And the status quo is not changing as long as the DNC is relying far too much on the money for their infrastructure on big donors. Which, based on most of the meetings Hakeem Jeffries has had outside of D.C. since becoming minority leader that has roiled the left, isn't changing.
  4. This is at the heart of so many current political battles happening on the American left so it's fitting. To correct the record on what I mentioned earlier, the former doesn't outweigh the latter and whether the cons from the latter outweigh the pros from the former I guess is debatable. I have been aware of them, to be clear.
  5. Before anyone says here that the UK is not part of the EU anymore I'm well aware of that. This was for title length and London is just a starting point for further breaking off that total that started since March
  6. The indie sleaze era, to be more specific. At least that's how Robyn captioned her photo with Sky before the latter disappeared
  7. You're allowed to frame it that way and the general public is allowed to not buy it. I'd personally give Beyoncé the benefit of the doubt if she didn't cancel the meaning of entire eras she'd done with outfits promoting white nationalism against native peoples on manifest destiny. If she apologized for that and divorced Jay-Z this notion you provide of "clear boundaries" would actually make more sense.
  8. I realize I misred you but the elephant in the room here is if there's enough of an incentive by enough people in power in the DNC to not have the data out there as to why there was a massive voter drop off for Kamala it won't be put out there or the waters will be muddied as to their meaning and the takeaways by the usual influencers. Voters wanted to change from Biden and Kamala was associated with Biden. Polling isn't reliable because it takes a snapshot in time from people that give what they think people want to hear. There's been studies done on the shy Trump voter effect given his blatant racism that covers this exact problem. The Israel problem was deliberately undersold by moderates and the ongoing economic problems were undersold by the entire left, dependent on the issue, due to larger global economic forces from Covid and Ukraine that the US withstood a lot of but still felt a lot of political damage from. Kamala's loss in '24 was due to the same economic forces that caused Trump's loss in '20, though not solely. The confusion for a lot of people was that enough voters associated Trump again with an economic fix, specifically transphobic working class Latino men (and not just Cubanos but Tejanos generally, etc.) The key for 2028 is that group specifically has done almost an entire 180. Culturally, there's the resentment and sense of betrayal over a white nationalist ICE led by Stephen Miller encouraged by the Kavanaugh ruling allowing racial profiling that has overridden any resentment towards trans people in polling in combination with, economically, the boom they were sold that never happened under Iran, inflation and tariffs.
  9. Of course. Just look at the pouting tantrums DNC delegates made like toddlers when facing protestors at the convention. The first person I'd have you ask that question to is Ken Martin. Good luck getting an interview granted.
  10. Having worked on the Hill and campaigns, I will say I am convinced Ossoff's comms director Jake Best is already training him to avoid white Obama comparisons. And has been, if the latest appearances are any indication. The style for gravitas is still slightly overbearing but there's now definitely differences.
  11. People here just learning about @family.guy123 If they posted more on here they'd have been banned a long time ago
  12. Older black moderates deeply resent being told that Latinos stayed home because Kamala is and will forever be seen as Biden 2.0. The bigger elephant in the room here is Obama 3.0 but the key difference is Barack was and still is a brilliant politician (with horrors on various issues) unlike the former segregationist with one foot in the grave and Mrs. Word Salad.
  13. Harris' only hope to base voters that are against Israel's genocide is that she doesn't really have a position on anything. Ossoff's only hopes to base voters that are against Israel's genocide is that he's only slightly less craven than Shapiro and Newsom in addressing the issue, despite the fact that he'll still be in AIPAC's corner in the end and despite Hasan Piker's bizarre insistence to Gen Z that he's playing some 4D chess we're all not apparently aware of or too dumb to understand. I probably wouldn't vote for either of them if they made the general but solely from a political standpoint, Harris will lose the general election to either JD Vance or Marco Rubio. It would be a tight race, but Ossoff actually has a chance of beating both of them. For very different reasons. 2028 will come down to cities in the Upper Midwest, again. Specifically, how many black women stay home and how many Latino men come out.
  14. I'll tell you what entered the conversation, Josh Shapiro and Gavin Newsom. Both of their entries helped accelerate the widening of the chasm between the base and MSNow Blue MAGA/White Wine Moms. Ossoff's only chance at the White House is if a terrified and broke DNC doesn't stop the sociopaths Newsom and Shapiro from taking Kamala down first. The base isn't afraid of coming for Kamala's word salads but the DNC is for fears of being seen as racist by older black moderates. Ossoff's smart enough to know that he will heavily damage black turnout from coming for her in the primary. You cannot compare that to Kamala coming for Biden because of Covid. The annoying Buttigieg/Beshear sideshows aside, Ossoff at least pretends to care about the various issues dividing the factions and doesn't have as many skeletons in his closet. Shapiro and Newsom are convinced the Liz Cheney strategy would've worked if it wasn't performed by a woman. They're going to both go the blustery route than have tantrums when it doesn't work which will include turning off all black women by bringing up Willie Brown and uniting with Anita Dunn staffers to leak endlessly to the Beltway press about how improperly loyal she was.
