Um, the one that's actually a real and historical document of creation (Silmarillion).

Great fantasy novel but an entirely different thing. ASOIAF is not a creation mythos, much less one for our world like The Bible and The Silmarillion are.

Perhaps this is not a very well-known fact, but Middle Earth is not a separate universe; it represents a forgotten state of our very own world from a distant past.

The fact that even the apostles managed to finish the Bible while being persecuted, meanwhile Miss GRRM can't even finish the last 2 ASOIAF books while sitting on his ass in his cozy New Mexico mansion

The Silmarillion >>> The Bible. If you're going to read a tedious mythical history, as both are, it might as well be FUN. Not to mention, on the whole, it's less sexist, with more powerful female figures. Mother Mary you will never be Galadriel!
