When he adds Die With a Smile and APT to it, it's over for everyone

My ranking after the first listen:

Something Serious - Should have been the fist single, a huge bop!
Risk It All
On My Soul
Nothing Left - Huge ballad, loved it!
I Just Might
God Was Showing Off
Cha Cha Cha - I was a bit disappointed that it sounded empty, I prefer the more uptempo second half
Dance With Me
Why You Wanna Fight? - The only real skip for me, sounds like a Silk Sonic Reject

Overall it's around the quality that I was expecting. I'm a sucker for latin music. He is vocalizing too much with uh and woos, I wish he would left it behind and also to start leaning more towards modern sound, but I guess I'll never that that from Bruno. Overall it's a solid album, I'm happy I bought ticket for the tour. His music is always elevated live.

I'm sure that Die With A Smile was meant for this album

It wasn't because the producer said the song had been sitting around for ages and thought to revisit it when they heard Gaga was starring in Joker

Big fan and I'm listening now. You're right. It's so obvious DWAS was meant for this album.

WTH is this?

it sounds like the typical band of a tourist hotel for retirees.

Risk It All's also on Hot Hits Australia. He's smart for pushing Risk It All. I'll give him that.

This is such an easy listen. It also feels so good to hear this album during summertime. I can see it smashing ngl

Fine, I listened somewhere eli

First of all, VOCALS. The VOCALS?! Best (mainstream) male singer alive. When you thought he couldn't go any higher/longer/fuller he'd prove you wrong the very next song. The album overall is pretty great and his music always tends to grow on me with time. So much of it is influenced by latin music too, I didn't know I needed that from him.

Risk It All is a great opener and I wouldn't be offended if it's the next single. One of the better tracks on the album for sure. I was completely slayed by Something Serious. Very unconventional, especially for him. I can't wait to put it on repeat, best song on the album for me.

On My Soul and Nothing Left are also standouts. Fantastic tracks, On My Soul is a bit like I Just Might, but better tbh. Surprised to say I Just Might actually falls within the "better half" of the album, after the first listen only anyway.

Cha Cha Cha felt a bit undercooked. There's a great song in there somewhere but it seems unpolished. And that's the one where the lyrics stood out the most - and in a bad way too. He was never an ambitious lyricist but some of these rhymes, adjectives and lines are soooo uninspired and unoriginal. I think this one will grow on me though.

Not a fan of God Was Showing Off and Why You Wanna Fight?. The latter seems to me like a caricature of a huge ballad from the 70s. Feels very performative and unemotional. Both of these tracks are guilty of what people sometimes accuse Bruno of - being a retro tribute act. Silk Sonic rejects.

Risk it All is that good, its like Grenade (things he would do), but this time reciprocal

Need to spin the album a couple more times but "Cha Cha Cha" is not a great song...the worst definitely. "God Was Showing Off" reminds me the lyrics of "Are You Even Real" by Teddy Swims (not my jam). Tracks 5-9 almost flawless!

Shhhh you're gonna trigger some people fan

I'm on my first listen and so far pretty solid. Honestly the production is top notch and the vocals are slaying me. Of course, we all know Bruno can sing, but he sounds better than ever this time around?!!??!!!
