I was wondering if any of you are Lego collectors?

I only have one Lego set - gifted to me last year - the Hogwarts Express Collectors Edition - retails for about $600 right now:

I have it displayed in my entertainment center.

Lately, I've been thinking of adding this #badbitch of a lego set (retails for $300)

Wanted to see if any other lego collectors were here and what ya'll owned?

I don't collect many Lego sets though I do have some of the F1 cars they have. I think the sets made for adults look really cool despite the price, especially the ones for historical landmarks.

I collect anime themed Lego minifigures if that counts, but I don't own Lego blocks themselves

yeah idk how I feel about having 2 lego sets and it costs $1k to own them like?????

as a kid, I thought they were like $50. but then I realized that they actually go up in price? so I'm looking at them like an investment now? idk

OT: I used to, but it's kinda too expensive and takes too much space

i usually buy myself a few sets a year to build because it's super relaxing. over christmas i built the notre dame set and the trevi fountain set

that said... am considering buying the new stranger things set and keeping it sealed. the upside down house increased in value a crazy amount!

nice! I like the landmark sets but I don't have enough space to display them all tbh. I also bought the light kit for my Harry Potter one and it looks nice. so now light kits are a must for me (if available)

I used to love Legos as a kid but never did them as an adult, maybe I should get back to them

Aw this is cute. Not anymore but I did love them when I was a kid, I think everyone did makes me miss that time. Loved my Star Wars & Spider-Man sets

I've got a lot of parts from various 2018-2022 Harry Potter sets (it's the only consistent castle theme Lego has and the sets were incredible value back then) that I plan to create a custom build with.

My most prized Lego characters are my custom made Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy 16 and Spider-Man from the Marvel mystery boxes. They look so cool. Also got Sonic and Tails from the airplane set.

Need them to make some Superman sets.

The sets really do get better and better every year but the prices makes me reconsider a lot of them.

No but there's a pretty rare Doctor Who set that I've always wanted but the price is a bit off putting for something I'd probably never open
