I used to be an unapologetic Sky defender. Now I just wonder why she can't be completely honest and say what's really stopping her from putting that damn album out. It's not like she owes us shït but what's the point of teasing something that is never coming out? She brought it up herself in this interview when there was no need.

The shoot is my favourite in years tho. And half of the interview she's fangirling over Aaliyah, which was so refreshing to read.

She is still so effortlessly beautiful, it hurts. Prettiest (rarely active) pop girl by far IMO.

I don't think she's referring to any of the music she made while still under Capitol. She said she was in a legal grey zone because despite paying for the recording sessions and producer time herself, it was still technically made under contract. She could be referring to completely new music.

she can't finish a collection of demos she had for 10 years and you want her to start from scratch? some of y'all are as delusional as she is i'm afraid

not like it matters considering capitol probably won't let her have the masters for those. unlike what the little masochists would want you to believe, her extremely unprofessional narcissistic ways ruined her career and relationship with capitol so i would also refuse to return her calls just like she was not responding to their texts when she was signed. for example the #freeskyferreira brigade claimed for years that capitol was not letting her repress NTMT vinyls, when she was dropped they immediately repressed that album and we found out from someone who knew about why the distribution was held up they said that Sky was actually just not responding to capitol's texts to repress the vinyl when she was still with them. she straight up lies and gaslights her fans into thinking everyone else but her is the problem.
