It would have been a great album track on Bionic. The video was fun though.

I LOOVE this song. Used to be very obsessed with it when it came out.

Legend X did electropop right. She never got her hands on any electropop songs as good as her contemporaries (she never had a Womanizer, Circus, Just Dance, Poker Face, Only Girl In The World, etc), which is probably what expedited her downfall at that time since she was playing in the same sandbox as them but not as favorably. But she still made bops. I hope she returns to that sound on her next album when it comes in 20 years.

The song is cute, I give her that.

Actually, NMT and YB are good leads, it's just people are so over her at that point.

A bop. I remember thinking this was gonna be the lead from her next studio album and then being disappointed when it was just a GH

What caused the delay for Bionic? Why not just release it in 08 she already had a lead single prepared

I always forget this song exists but I was obsessed with it back in the day... I still remember the Blair Waldorf edits. This also being a top 10 hit.. god I wish she dropped a full album in 2008

Wasnt it the record label wanted her to do more pop sounding tracks cos they were a bit nervous about the direction she was going on? Hence why some of the more straight-up pop songs being recorded later?

I think it would have done the same, honestly...

A cute although ephemeral hit that my gym randomly plays sometimes clap3

Happy to see some love for "Dynamite" in this thread.

"Keeps Getting Better" wasn't markedly better than "Not Myself Tonight" and certainly wouldn't have saved Bionic.

Im not sure id classify Genie 2.0 and You Are What You Are (Beautiful) as electropop. Those are downtempo tracks.

I never said that they were. Though I don't remember what You Are What You Are sounds like, Genie 2.0 is undoubtedly electropop even if it's downtempo

SOME DAYS I'M A SUPER B**************** UP TO MY OLD TRICKS BUT IT WON'T LAST FOREVER

Such a bop! The fact it peaked at #7 and was on Ain't No Other Man's neck but it fell like a rock

Her electropop phase is so underrated. To me it sounds timeless, the other girlies found more success with it but sound like a product of their time mostly WAP

This was a legit #4 peaking smash in Stanada too at the time with decent legs here. It was a really competitive time of year with Pink's So What, Bey's IASF, Brit's comeback, and fetus Gaga all happening at once. Miss those days 😭

Well, it's been ages since I've heard it for the last time, so I played it and it's quite nice, but it's not screaming "big hit" to me.
