I get what you mean but I think the car dress was always meant to be a preview of the music video for Disease.

Gotcha gotcha. good point. In my unsubstantiated headcannon, I felt like we were getting more "vehicle" metaphors and a soft reference to BTW era (this time with a car instead of a motorcycle), and then we took a hard turn into leather, black, lolita, etc. so I feel like there's wasn't much further context for this. But I see it. God Disease was such a cuntquake. When that first TV teaser dropped on the website

The Harlequin special last year was great. Her jazz and pop sensibilities finally fused together, I could see the vision.

Wait they released it? When

What an era this has been, for the whole world, but also for me particularly.

I came back on ATRL when she announced the Chromatica Ball Film, and rumours about LG7 were in full spring, after years of not going online to take care of my mental health due to a long depressive period. Going through the meltcountdowns in June 2024 together with y'all was such a fun ride, that moon made us dirty. The cumulative point of that period was when I got to see her preview Abracadabra and "Notorious Being" here in Paris. I still wanna slap that annoying brazilian ARTPOOPist though.

Then we got DWAS, and the infamous Race to 1B I loved posting (almost) daily. That helped me feel like I belonged. I can't thank you guys enough for that feeling at such a crucial time.

MAYHEM as a whole felt like therapy, I truely relate with @Bhabylon's post on that point. The Disease release was surgery on my broken Monster heart. I can't describe how much passion and joy I felt listening to it for the first time - and still to this point today. What a f*ing amazing track. The main concept of the album, the dualities of the soul and embracing your inner chaos, healed me in a way nothing or no one else could.

Summer 2025, I started feeling pure joy, passions and a will to live instead of just surviving again. "Happy just to be alive", like I haven't been for years, even a decade I would say. I deeply reconnected with my friends, but most importantly my family. Together with my mom & my sister, we planned a small dance performance (on Bad Romance, Abracadabra & a song by Piche) for the talent show organised at my brother's wedding, just like when we used to learn every Gaga choreography together back during the TFM & BTW days.

All of this gave me the strength to put an end to a 5-year-long relationship that was going nowhere, in which we both stayed by habits instead of love. (We're actually still friends and went to the MAYHEM Ball together.) I've since found a new boyfriend that nurtures this newly found fire inside of me. I've also made the decision to totally change careers, currently waiting for the results of the exam I took last month.

Anyway. Sorry for the long post. Love you Mother & love you all, even the kAllah haters & the How Bad stans. heart

These reflection posts in the base today omg chick3

It's always nice to know there's a community online where even our anonymous selves can still belong in some capacity and we can all cherish and celebrate the music and memories that she has given us.

I'm sending y'all a big virtual hug. hug

I totally get you, sis. Gaga has helped me get through a lot of hardship, and this era felt like a celebration of coming through a lot of darkness with her and being in a happy spot in my life at the same time she's healthy and thriving. It truly felt like I was looking back on a journey shared across 20 years, whether she knew she was there or not for me — It made a world of a difference.

Even in the last year, I lost one of my closest friends to cancer and I've had some other personal challenges where I've leaned on her storytelling about resilience, like her explanation for Abracadabra, to push myself.

Eternally grateful for you, Gaga! heart

Found a tiktok account which sells Gaga/Madonna blankets on their page but the woman in their videos who's making these blankets is clearly an AI bot. I'm so confused rip

Also why didn't she release the date for MAYHEM:Requiem. It should've been out with the trailer monkey
