This might be the case tbh since SOAW gets a full scene in the film while Runway is allegedly the credits song (although the song with the first music cue is eligible for BOS). And Runway can be positioned as a crossover hit since the Doechii feat will help it with Urban/Rhythmic radio formats.

Cirkut and Watt were such a dream team for MAYHEM, the only real disappointment I've had with them is The Dead Dance but that song was made for a kids show, so I'll give it a pass. Shape of a Woman sounds a bit more in line with The Dead Dance tho, but Runway is such a bop.

You know I personally am not a heart surgeon or a seer or a psychic, I don't know if her heart will put 100% focus on OST like somebody in here claimed that she doesn't but I just love everything she puts out. It doesn't mean I won't criticise her but at the present, to see her keep putting out music and getting booked here and there projects make me happy. I'm just be grateful and thankful. Nobody, I'm pretty sure, nobody expects it will do great job on charts or getting commercial success, no one. I just hope at least we'll get it to top 50 Spotify or higher than that.

They have to release it on Thursday night because the film is premiering in Asia on Thursday ahead of US, so Thursday night in US is when Asia audiences get to watch the show, it will be odd if the audience watched the film and can't find the song in the film afterwards.

Do you think artists can just book whatever whenever when a show is canceled? They have to figure out when the avenue is available, they also have to figure out if the crew is available, especially when the tour is almost over, many of them could've booked the next gig and it's hard to ask them to come back sometime in the future for one rescheduled show. It's not an one man show, it's not as easy as you think.
