The renowned dancer Amari Marshall, Beyoncé's co-captain of dance, shared with the "OGSP" channel her experience as a dancer in the "Perfect Illusion" music video, released in 2016.

According to her, Lady Gaga was the first major artist she worked with on a music video, an experience that opened doors for her to start working with other artists.

"She had selected 18 dancers to stand around her, forming a kind of punk circle, and that was really cool. "When you're making an album with Lady Gaga, you're going to have a completely different process than when you're working with a band like the Rolling Stones, or when you're working with an artist like Elton John, who is a solo artist and is different. And then, when it came time to make that song, we were basically following her lead and trying to support her, making the best music to go along with the concept of doing 'the dance of the dead,' you know?"

Interviewer: How did the series influence the music? Did you write it and then think it would be great for the series, or did you write it specifically for "Wednesday"?

Andrew Watt: Well, you know, it's the kind of thing that gave us the feeling that, well, if you've seen the first season of the series, when Jenna Ortega was doing the "Goo Goo Muck" dance from The Cramps, many fans put the scene to the sound of "Bloody Mary" and it became a super viral moment. So the idea of bringing them together was something we discussed, you know, with Gaga, "Wednesday," and Tim Burton. Gaga is obviously a huge fan of Tim Burton's work. And who isn't? We all grew up watching his movies. So it was something really... it was organic for there to be a collaboration between the two worlds, because it was something done purely by the fans that took off in a very natural way.

And that's one of the coolest things about the internet these days, like, fans can show you what they like and what they want, and you can follow along with them in real time without anything being shoved down their throats. [...] So it's kind of "by the fans and for the fans." And it was exciting to know that this came from a genuine place in our fanbase. And that, from there, we could create something that would echo and amplify all of that. And then, once again, you know, Gaga and Tim Burton had this incredible idea for the video and how it would be presented in the series. And obviously she was a really cool character in the series. So it's a lot of fun to do things like that, you know, especially within the whole process of an album, having these little moments that are different and for four different things—it really made the creative process interesting and always with the feeling that there were, you know, different paths we could take.

IT'S COMING! With the start of voting to determine the winners of the 2026 Emmy Awards, the Los Angeles Times heard a bit from choreographer Corey Baker about what he thinks of having developed the first choreography for a then-unreleased song by Lady Gaga.

"When you receive a completely new song, as happened with us with 'The Dead Dance,' you're creating the physical expression of that song for the future. Those little details make it feel like something a bit supernatural, or maybe even a bit ugly, and I really like that."

The choreography, considered "a bit eccentric" by the newspaper, brings elements of ballet and an arm gesture resembling a claw that quickly won over the public. The announcement of the winner in the category of "Outstanding Choreography for Scripted Programs" will take place between September 5 and 6 during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

WALK! Ballerina Lindsay Taylor recently shared with her followers the behind-the-scenes of her first gig alongside Lady Gaga: the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Paris. 🌹

"The first rehearsal we had on stage was exactly the moment I met Gaga. She was sitting in a chair at the end of that massive runway, ready to watch us dance. The pressure was insane. I had one shot to prove to Gaga that I deserved to be on her team. I gave it everything I had. I danced like it was the last time I'd ever perform in my life. Gaga was thrilled with the performance, and I was relieved."

Lindsay revealed that the final rehearsals went beyond the stage and continued in the apartment where Gaga was staying in the city.

"The night before the show, we rehearsed in Gaga's private apartment in Paris. It immediately turned into an intimate girls-only night. It felt like we were having a slumber party with one of our best friends. Between one run-through of the choreography and the next, she'd try on different outfits and ask our opinion on what she should wear for the show. She also showed us different ideas for her Super Bowl halftime performance. We hung out together for hours. It was so surreal, so fun. Gaga immediately made me feel like part of the family. She was so kind, so affectionate. A night I'll never forget."

For those who don't remember, Bruno Mars also performed at the show, and according to Lindsay, he was an absolute sweetheart with them. "Bruno Mars was chilling backstage, chatting with us and being the coolest person in the world."

As for the performance itself, Lindsay also recalled the challenges and pressure she faced that night.

"We started the performance and I was killing it, having a blast, giving it my all. Then came the tensest moment for me, right in the middle of it. The dancers do a quick outfit change for Gaga live on stage. And what was my exact job? To grab the shoes that had just been taken off her, strut to the side of the runway, and place the shoes perfectly next to her, in a tiny space between the runway and a million-dollar camera that was filming the whole show and rolling back and forth on wheels. If I put the shoes in the wrong spot, I could mess up a multi-million-dollar broadcast. My whole body was sweating. I was praying to the Victoria's Secret Angels: 'Please help me get through this.' It was terrifying. We nailed the outfit change and crushed the performance."

I kind of hate her doing side gigs like this. I get that this will all likely tie into a Haus Labs skincare line and this is maybe something she's really passionate about, but it invites a level of discourse I find exhausting. I'm admittedly pretty tinfoil hat about AI usage, even for the so-called good, and I respect people who know what they're talking about explaining how this sort of AI is different to generative AI but for people who aren't clued up it just never reads well. Idk, I know this is probably the wrong take to have but it's okay to be a silent partner in some things.

I couldn't give a single **** about anything she does that is not music or acting related. I literally pay her to entertain myself singing, dancing or performing so why would she think I would be interested in harvesting human organs with robot technology.
