You don't even need to look at Beyoncé's own releases. Any other artist would be charging the same (if not more) for a 4LP 180g premium vinyl boxset.

Sabrina Carpenter released an anniversary edition of Short N' Sweet just yesterday for £70, and that's a standard 140g 1LP with nothing new on it.

Two days ago, Magdalena Bay announced a 2LP 180g vinyl boxset for Imaginal Disk that's £120, charging more than Bey for half the songs/vinyl.

Last week, Mac Miller's The Divine Feminine 10th Anniversary Deluxe 3LP was launched which also costs more than the B'Day Deluxe variant, and that has only 3 new tracks and is on standard 140g.

I could keep going on forever but unfortunately this is the current state of the industry.

Guys pls can we not fight. Today we got new physicals (two of which are honestly refreshingly affordable for her standards), some cool new pics, and confirmation of high quality versions of vault tracks coming to streaming in 8 days time.
Lost Yo Mind is almost certainly destined to go viral on TikTok, the physicals will be a fun addition to the libraries of those who decide to purchase them, and Bey's silence on her personal instagram sort of confirms we'll at least get some sort of nice acknowledgement of it on her actual birthday.

All of this combined with the fact she'll most certainly take to the stage and sing either Deja or UpgradeU in London for Jay's Sept 4th show, means we're actually doing pretty ok today.

This is the best the hive has been catered to since Cowboy Carter dropped. Let's all just chill.

So, there is only 1 new song on the Bday Re-issue we have yet to hear - "Can I watch You"? Hopefully some of our favorite B-sides like Lost Yo Mind, Back Up, etc. have new mixes or some new lyrics/production. Kind of like Donk.

Are we talking about how Morning Dew (Donk) is in the top 10 on both Urban and Rhythmic Radio?

I just checked Kworb Radio for like the first time in forever. And wow, these audience totals are so different then back in the day. #1 86 million? wow. Plus radio is so stuck most of these songs are old as fvk
