I'm going to be controversial and say I don't think B has ever totally nailed a Met Gala look. She's had lots of great looks, but sometimes the styling and, almost always the glam, is slightly off.

Shiona is definitely the right person to help B get this right.

I think there are a few key factors. For red carpet looks, I think she usually looks best in simple, form fitting gowns that complement her natural shape. And soft, natural glam. She looks even better when those dresses are well made, and have couture level construction. The Balenciaga look she wore for RWT is such a good example of that. Its a simple looking gown, but the internal structure and boning just take it to the next level.

I don't think she should try and do some crazy super fashion thing that swallows her. If this is about how the human body inspires art and fashion - well B embodies that totally. I don't think she needs some crazy concept.

We need Rokael on glam and Neal on hair.

I wonder how she will incite interest and excitement for ACT III closer to announcement?

RENNYs blank profile shtick was a cute gimmick that had tails wagging and the random IG bio announcement of BMS was petty and fun!

CCs Super Bowl announcement was grand and spectacular; total opposite from ACT I.

I'm super excited for ACT IIIs rollout!

I actually think its the start of an interesting concept, but she didn't take it far enough on that occasion. It seemed to be a play on the poem from the Lemonade film:

But it wasn't obvious enough. I would have lost the flowers, and made the beads tiny teeth, and given her a sternum as a cane. And totally changed the glam.

The fact that May 2026 is the only month of the year to have a Friday 29th... and how Tina Turner released Private Dancer on May 29, at 44yo and the album was 44min long?? Beyoncé is 44 right now, and the Met Gala is on May 4. I'm not that much into release date theories but this sounds literally perfect.

God I love the lemonade movie

This is probably bad for me to say, but I think it would be great if she could get back to her Renaissance era body. Not super skinny, but she looked normal, and amazing and healthy. I was also wondering if the extra weight she's put on makes it harder for her knee to recover?

I wish there was an extended version of the Lemonade album with all of the poem interludes. And I wish the The Gift didn't have them at all. Haha.

In down periods, in between eras I don't come on here much if at all. That's the best way to be. I used to literally sit around waiting for eras to start. Now I just pretend like she doesn't exist and just live my life. The album will come when it comes. We can't do anything about it. We can't will it or force it.

I totally understand the concept. It still looked like she just had warts all over her body. Not to mention the make up???!!!

Yeah... she's never nailed her glam for a red carpet. The best she did was 2015. But even then, the side pony looks so random and plonked. Think it was a last min choice

I found out she's the co-chair of Met Gala via this thread. Without further research I responded, "She must've hated Anna Wintour." Anna stepped down from Vogue and I assumed that Beyonce returned because of that. Turns out Anna will be co-chairing with her!

I hope she doesn't walk the red carpet.

I follow a streamer that records the red carpet from across the street every year. I don't want the geepee anywhere near her.
