Giving her and her team the benefit of the doubt, I've thought for a while that her approach to 'lost media' is another of her attempts to remind us of how music consumption has changed and how to keep valuing the present. It's easy to take performances or the moment for granted if you know that it will exist on a streaming platform forever, but without that gurantee, she forces us to treasure what she does put out in the moment even more (ala the advice Prince gave her). She obviously cares immensely about documenting her legacy but at the same time doesn't want to fall into the modern trap of needing everything to always be available and recorded at every given second. (and yes I agree with the critiques of "well not everyone can attend, or watch it in theatres" or that maybe it's just poor business management keeping some releases from going through but again, this is me being more philosophical based on various reflections she has noted in interviews since ST)
