I think in terms of music, the top charts will be ruled by AI-supported music eventually. It will just become another "medium", just like computer synths and what not were before ... except this time it will ACTUALLY be soulless, but the masses wont care because they're being fed it gradually until the resistance is gone. 

 

In terms of The Artist, the artist will always exist but some artists will be heard more than others. The Machine will make it even more difficult for the artist, so the amount of "soul" in art will decrease even more. 

But we still have Addison Rae so we're good. 

people accepting slop quality for art has been a thing for a long time. those same people are saying "it's just a song/home decor/book cover/etc who cares".

 

for some art is just a nail in a wall and for others it is everything. if you care then you will opt out and if you don't care songs will continue to be a buzz on a radio to you. 

AI will be just another creation/production tool.
