Bigger and better hit between both MEGASTARS?

Abracadabra and it's not even close. 

 

Cuff It is annoying and, therefore, garbage. Belongs in trash.

Posting some objective stats for reference 

 

Spotify 

 

Cuff It: 929M streams in 3 years

Abracadabra: 628M streams in 10 months 

 

YouTube Music

 

Cuff It: 196M plays in 3 years

Abracadabra: 379M plays in 10 months 

And the controversial subject of daily streams 

 

Abracadabra: 1M

Cuff It: 173k

I think this is actually a good comparison. Both cute solo hits later in their careers with somewhat similar performance. 

 

With that said, Abra is probably bigger. Cuff It's recurrent stats are not very good and Abra seems to be holding up well. Cuff It is ~300 million streams ahead but had a 5 year head start. But they're still close. It'll probably take Abra ~2 years to catch up. Abra is obviously bigger on YouTube but not really a fair comparison as Cuff It doesn't have a video.

Cuff It came out in July 2022 and became a single in early 2023. Abracadabra came out in early 2025 so it's only a 2.5~2 year head start. Not 5

Cuff It is an excellent song. Abra feels very gimmicky

Omg why did Renaissance come out in 2020 in my mind . My brain never recovered the ability to gauge time post-lockdown. 
 

Either way, Abra will pass eventually despite the head start.

YouTube Music is a streaming platform like Spotify. You can listen to music without watching the video. Bloody Mary has 518M plays without any video for example.

Cuff It debuted on Billboard Hot100 on 13th August and was available to stream since July 2022. So it's a 3.3 year headstart not 2.5~2

Cuff it was bigger in USA, Abra globally, overall Abra. I think Abra is better, it's one of the best on Mayhem while cuff it is not top 5 on Renai.

I think Abracadabra is the bigger hit, I'm not sure. I need year-end charts for 2025 to compare properly.

 

I prefer Abracadabra over Cuff It, the bridge is just *chef's kiss*. The Wetter Remix of Cuff It deserves some praise though, it takes me back to some sensual Janet bops from the 90's. 

 

Overall I'd say Abracadabra > Cuff It (Wetter Remix) >>> Cuff It (album version)

Cuff It wasnt pushed as single by release tho so

Cuff It, it's an amazing party song and gets people hyped while the other one is a corny mess that people would probably just skip if it started playing
