I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Negative Spaces was great & going fully into this sound makes a lot of sense given all the metal fans she's probably gained in the last year

I'm guessing End of You isn't making the tracklist?

I'm so ready for this album 

 

Guess it will have that old bmth sound too if Jordan is producing every track

does she still make rock/metal pop? i havent listened to her since I Disagree

But I agree, no Simon Wilcox is sad :( Their output together was always so good

Each of her projects is different, to be honest. If you listened to I Disagree last then the next album, Flux, is a grungy rock record, then the Stagger EP is a heavier iteration of that, Zig is a dance album with a lot of different influences and some ballads (her most diverse to date!), and Negative Spaces is metalcore.

And so far Empty Hands seems to be a sequel to Negative Spaces.

 

So tl;dr yeah, I guess metal pop is one way to put it, but Zig is almost purely pop

I love the titles. I feel like Empty Hands will be one to cry to.

 

Guardian made me thing about Sky haha Ribs about Lorde and Time Will Tell about Hikaru Utada (I'm sure she is a fan of this one)

I listened to Unravel 40 times in the past 24 hours 

Unravel is a career highlight.

At the risk of sounding like a fake stan I wish she'd give us some bops like Chic Chick or Fashion After All, I feel like ever since parting ways with Titanic she's been trying hard to prove her artistry which is commendable but I want cuntiier Poppy tracks, especially after parting ways with Titanic

Loving everything so far, it's her "pop rock" era tbh and it's needed since she's playing big shows and everything next year so she really should have crowd appealing stuff out by then

Really not feeling these new songs This sound is so overdone honestly…

I still stream "Flux" a lot in 2025!
I know the sound will be a lot different in this one (metalcore/nu metal again), but her work and deliver always get me really excited!

This last one is ok to me but I'm loving the rest.

I am not feeling any of this at all, and I've stanned every album of hers

I really like Guardian tbh. I might be a bit excited for the album
