Finally.  It's been over a year since I saw her play a few songs from the album.  Animal is great.  Very excited. 

I am so stoked for new Vanessa music. It feels like it has been too long!

listened to Animal during my shift and it slays! perched  lemme follow her insta if she has one lol

It's a shame her voice is totally shot because she's still one of my favorite artists of all-time. I'd love another album in the vein of ROTR or Liberman.

Whats wrong with her voice she always sounds fine and it's not like she does a bunch of vocal acrobatics 

 

But yes ROTR and Liberman are her best

Although I'm here for her getting success, it does make me wince when people only associate her as the "A Thousand Miles" singer when she has albums like Rabbits On the Run in her discography.

I do appreciate that she went down the "arts not charts" route though because she's consistently delivering.

I'd say my current favourites from this album are "I'm Not Dead", "The Mountain" and "Great House" but I enjoyed the entire album.

Strawberries in Winter is the gem of the album for me

bro… giving this a first listen finally and not The Mountain randomly being the best song she's ever made like holy f*ck lol

It's such a solid album and it's a shame it is getting very little attention.

Honestly gag that she's skipping Rabbits On the Run altogether on the new tour
