We know that Taylor is hungry to break every record possible to stay at the absolute top and she is capable of doing ANYTHING in her power to do so, literally ANYTHING. Now that the record for most sales is hers, what will be her next step? Would it be the most #1s on a single album? Would Taylor be able to break this record?

Honestly, I think she can rely on mobilizing her fan base to secure the next 4 #1s. I'm not sure what songs she would push because the "single worthy" songs aren't obvious to me atm. 
 

I feel as if she would have to extend this era by a bit to make sure she fits in 5+ #1s. How long did Katy take for Teenage Dream? 

She needs 6 #1s for that on one album.

 

After The Fate of Ophelia I can only see Opalite go #1 realistically (with a proper push). But time will tell. 

 

 

I think she will have to wait for the next album for that, and the songs are going to have to be miles better than these. None of them really scream "single material" to me

You can only get multiple #1 from an era if you release pre-album singles. 

She'd need to release at least 3 singles, another one on album release week, and 2 other remixes with big artists for this to work. 

Maybe if she releases stand-alone singles and attaches them to future albums like many of ATRL's favs do.

 

lately she's only been releasing 2-3 singles an era.

If she takes "a break" and releases droplets instead of an album and then combines them into one album I could see that happening 

Because she's not getting 5-6 #1s from this album's strategy

Anyway, in the streaming era is impossible if you don't release all the singles pre-album release and we do know Taylor loves her albums sales/units more than anything.

She just can't. Everything has less flavor than boiled chicken — there's simply nothing there.

She can just release a new variant per week with one new song, and that can easily be achieved with the power of her current fan base! Will the GP remember the songs the same way they remember those songs from teenage dream? I don't think she'll ever achieve that!

Don't laugh at me but she should do a Kim Petras Clarity roll out but with promo and more space a part. Maybe it should be 12 stations of the cross themed for that sacrilegious and controversial smash
