the video is amazing Flawless, PERFECTION. NO NOTES. So well done. It is a bit of a surprising single choice, since it starts with the chorus and doesn't get to the first verse until 1:28 into the song... lol

 I do like this song but I think the song with SZA would have been an easy hit to push initially . This could have been afterwards !

It's a cute song with hit potential but Cards and AHHH Men would have a bigger payoff if they clicked.

I feel like this was the right choice for the second single.

This hits for me so hard. I love it. Fell in love with it the minute I heard it. Sounds like summer. Should have been released in July

This grew on me quickly. Such a perfect blend of the modern and 80s sound.

 

I hope this catches on. It's one of the best songs of the year.

I assume they didn't know Sza would actually come through with her vocals until a couple of weeks ago lol.  
 

But I did see hints of them shifting to TMD despite having Gorgeous ready to go (clip on her website, using TMD in her promo for vinyls, etc).  Seems like it might actually be the next commercial single…unless Gorgeous takes off massively.

 

Until then…I'm treating it like a promo single.

My only issue with Cards is that it lacks a good hook for radio.  

But yeah, I still want a video lol.

I love the song but I don't believe she's cooked collard greens a day in her life

The music video is perfection.  I hope this is a big hit for her and then she can release Stranger or Take Me Dancing.
