Why wouldn't she still be working? She has critically acclaimed albums. She's able to consistently tour around the world. And she's currently charting on billboard charts around the world just like she did last summer.

it just needs to be slightly reworked but it would fit so nicely on the next album if NBB is indeed on it…

Joyride was originally supposed to be executive-produced by Max Martin and his entire team at Wolf Cousins studio in Sweden. This song ("Prisoner") was teased to potentially follow-up "Player" before the Chris Brown fiasco put that version of the album on ice (along with "The Life", "That's My Girl", and "Fearless/Scared of Happy" (produced by StarGate), which were all sold to Fifth Harmony).

All 4 records except "Fearless/Scared of Happy" (Prisoner, Player, The Life, and That's My Girl) are produced by Max Martin protege LuLou (Lukas Loules).
