No, BLACKPINK is still the biggest GG of this generation and will likely be for a long time to come. 

 

TWICE has released more music than other groups every year and the gap between them and BLACKPINK is 1M considering they only released one song and without a Netflix boost. 😐

 

K-Pop is still a worldwide phenomenon these days, and that's why TWICE has gained such a huge fan base over the years (that's why they always have big first weeks in pure sales and sold out shows), but that doesn't mean they're a truly a big successful act in the music industry.

In terms of longevity, yes, I don't see them disbanding or stop releasing music anytime soon, despite being in their 10th year. They might break the record for the longest active girl group in history

We don't care about the streams / sales - their era was iconique and a moment in time, and will go down in history as the greatest most niche girl group of all time, mind u they were only marketed to Asia so it's only a matter of a time before it gets crossed over

 

They definitely succeeded in proving the haters wrong, who kept saying they'd only be known in South Korea and Japan. Now they're headlining festivals and performing at stadiums in the US, while still maintaining strong album sales and streaming numbers, which is a rare feat for a kpop girl group celebrating their 10th anniversary. These girls consistently gave their best to the fans, delivering great performances under any circumstances and released an impressive and extensive discography further than almost any other group. You literally can't talk about kpop without mentioning them. TWICE legacy will be forever. 

twice is undoubtedly one of the biggest GGs in history, surpassed by only SNSD in their prime and BP. and at the rate things are going i can see twice outlasting BP...when you have singular talent godhyo in your group you never have to worry about lazy or talent accusatoins

Blackpink is still the most successful kpop gg but Twice is a strong 2nd.

Hmm... no

Twice only felt like the biggest kpop girl group during 2016-2017. Blackpink too over since 2018 and then groups like IVE, NewJeans and Aespa debuted which made Twice's case worse. They're still in the top 10 biggest ggs tho.
