Yeah I saw this and thought it was odd. Gatekeeping and this competitive attitude really should be irrelevant if you're speaking your truth through your art. If it's your story, then no one can compete with you, they can only follow and imitate.

Now how is this trying to mock Arca? What proof do you have of that?

 

I love them both, but is this the hill Arca really wants to die on right now? She's been coming for Sev for what feels like years over, some really not original content.

 

Both are flops. I'm not understanding why Arca is so bitter when she's arguably more known and has great connections. 

 

This is a major L for the both of them.

 

Also, let's stop being so predictable, shall we? First Sev is a fake Latina, now she's transphobic. Just say you side with Arca, no need to reach for the stars.  She's transphobic, but has worked with many other trans artists? Make it make sense. Do not label her a transphobe defending Arca who is 100% doing too much and needs to move on and start making good music again. Also, and eyeroll to accuse someone in our community of this over hurt feelings when America currently has a VERY real transphobic administration who are attempting to make life for trans people here even harder. Stop.
