I can't believe I forgot it's excellence. 640k/day (750k if we include the two SMASH remixes) for a single is a BIG deal and not everyone has that

Although I expect if she had released Getaway Car, Don’t Blame Me, Cruel Summer, and Paper Rings as singles they probably would’ve flopped during release and gotten forgotten afterwards, a la Out of the Woods or New Romantics. But the whole “underrated hidden gem” aspect is half the reason they’ve become popular in the first place, so maybe it’s for the best.
