There is no way she’s dropping a new studio album later this year. She has to drop the lead before the Grammy cutoff and then the album will follow in the next eligibility cycle. So the lead will come late summer. She needs a reason to be at the Grammys 2023 which will genuinely be a huge event (Adele, Beyoncé, etc). I know she doesn’t attend shows as much nowadays but she won’t want to miss that. It will be the Grammys’ best (and maybe last) shot at regaining some sizeable relevance and I’m sure she’ll want to be up there with the big shots.

Twitter stans, even Swifties, are so weird. I have to remember most of them are children, though. I saw one the other day say that a certain artist whose last big era ended in 2014 was bigger than Taylor at the start of the 2020’s - and they actually meant it, it wasn’t a joke!

lol I stopped reading twitter comments years ago, it's a combination of children, trolls and people with major issues that use the platform to let their frustration out no matter how it sounds, if atrl didn't have strict rules, so many masks would have fallen ages ago... but I got to admit that the chartdata comment section is so disturbing to a level where it becomes hilarious... the nicknames

The number of times I’ve read “ended Taylor” or some variant in response to the name of some random who’s never actually even been in the same league

I'm not sure if you're referring to the album or the song, but you'd be right either way

I'll never forget how the song had me hooked on first listen and the only thing I listened to the entire week leading to the album, and that incredible video hit me like a brick... then the day after, the album was so overwhelming, I had to split my first listen into two days, in order to digest what the **** just happened after every single song
