I'm not really sure why you get to that conclusion. I'm reading that they still have the stolen Speak Now copyright. 

But thats not really doing much for the Speak Now TV copyright.

 

 

And she has had the 1989 TV copyright for a while now and still nothing. So....

My understanding was if she still has the original Speak Now trademark it would have blocked the competing trademark from 'One Plus,' they only filed once her original trademark lapsed.

 

I think she's holding off on '1989' because of the lawsuit. I know it doesn't stop her from releasing, but she's an optics type person and it might look bad.

Makes sense to me and for some reason I think the reason she wouldn't drop debut while all the legals of SN/1989 is cause she might wanna save that for some full circle "reclaiming" her name/art moment.

It’s looking like nobody will have a BB200 debut this year that’s as big as Red TV’s, unless I’m forgetting some huge artist who has yet to drop or announce. I feel like a 1989 TV drop in Q4 could snatch the biggest week of the year easily. Since the AOTY Grammy is so competitive this year now - Harry, Adele, Kendrick, Beyoncé, etc - I’ve given up on my hopes of her releasing a new studio record at least until the next eligibility period starts. Her next new album totally has a shot at being the biggest debut of the decade given her current standing, and of its really good, I think she could be an AOTY contender yet again. It’s weird to think about but she’s, like, pretty much locked in to be an artist of the decade contender again

Bey can pull through if there’s enough hype.

I would call you crazy but somehow she keeps surpassing my expectations  Thought after Lover she'd do like 500-600k at most per release and then folklore came  I feel like even though she released 2 TVs and evermore since then there's still so much hype for TS10
Hopefully she finally choses the right lead single 
im thinking 1989 TV 600-700k and TS10 700-900k 
I dont wanna set her up but imagine if she gets a 1M debut in this sales climate I will say it MIGHT be possible if everything goes right (lead, promo, long pre-order time etc)

Thinking about how the next TV cover is going to slay me just as much as Fearless/Red TV did 

I hope this big break between Red TV and 1989 TV means she is close to finishing Speak Now TV too or debut TV or something so that when she gives us 1989 TV we wont have to wait THIS long for the next tv. I know we are spoiled and she gives us more music than most artists (especially artists with 10+ years in the game) but I cannot wait this long again  

Taylor is the type of artist to give TS10 a year of pre-orders to make that 1M debut possible.

Olivia maybe? I dont think she is at that level yet and if she releases another short album then certainly not, but I wouldnt be totally shocked if she did 600k.

But yeah that is clearly an extremely difficult mark to reach and you arent forgetting anyone

 

Debut weeks Taylor is in a league of her own now. Drake will do better with his next, but I dont see 600k again for him. Adele isnt doing it either I dont think

I dont think there is any difference in pre-orders that run 12 months vs 3 months. Maybe not even vs 1 month. 

Who would pre-order an album over 12 months

I can't believe she actually did something fun even though it's just a 20 second video clip
