I'm convinced TS12 will be another red album, but in contrast to Red's earthy, muted burgundy, TS12 will lean more toward a scarlet or cherry shade.

 

The Grammys dress was probably an easter egg, and then Taylor Nation started using that matte red heart emoji instead of the shiny one they used to use before.

 

Also the red hearts on the new Speak Now merch are another thing that makes me believe TS12 will have a red color scheme.

I've been saying this for a while - people seriously still say she takes no risks when TTPD is a glaring example of her taking a serious risk lol. Taking risks isn't all about releasing pots and pans music. TTPD is simply an album that the masses won't get, the lore is too deep and it's too specific. She could've skipped addressing her manic phase and instead released Lover 2.0 while the Travis relationship craze was at its peak and yet…

 

Also it's certainly not the first time. People don't want to admit it but while 1989 is amazing and of course commercial, going full pop as a country darling was risky. Likewise, surprise dropping an alt-folk leaning album during the pandemic (and then a sister album where she didn't even have physical sales) was even more risky.

 

Let it be known: she takes plenty of risks, they just always pay off so people refuse to acknowledge them.

I need it to be red for sure, and I think it will be. Orange and pink or w/e feels too on the nose tbh. She could use something like ~reclaiming red as the color of love and passion but this time, positively~  

 

The idea of it being Great Gatsby and Cabaret inspired aesthetic-wise with lots of red would be gorgeous. Just warm colors in general and gold, white, silver accents

Invisible, False God, and epiphany are all so important to me for different key factors in my life. I can't choose. 

Last Prayer is the winner for track 13s. epissany is dead last for me.

TTPD is one of my favorite Taylor albums, it really reminds me of a mature red.

Like someone above said, she really released that during her commercial peak. That's wild to think about and she doesn't get enough credit for it 

Completely agree, the timing of TTPD's release makes the whole thing even more impressive but somehow even retrospective critics seems to miss that point.

 

RWYLM is kinda her "Nocturnal Animals" to Jake Gyllenhaal.

 

He never saw her as a real "artist" unlike his favorite indie artists.

 

I think we've cracked the code.
