If this doesn't come with some sort of "Closing the chapter on "red" with an EP, looking forward to ___" type statement, then I just don't know with her. Then again that would require her actually talking to her fans which we know isn't going to happen.

Realistically yeah, but it will also pass Evermore in Spotify streams and US units rather soon

She's closing the Red TV era before Carolina. It actually makes sense because the movie will be released next month so the song should be out before the movie.

she needs to fully start the 1989 (TV) already, not tease and drop random singles out of nowhere and go back into hiding releasing more useless merch to drain fans of bank accounts 

 

I honestly think she's waiting until after this grammys deadline to release the next TV. She probably wants to focus on ATW and the short film for any awards/accolades they could bring. Carolina will probably be the only think we get til after September. 

 

She could surprise me though

Honestly I doubt she’ll win anything with ATW10 it’d be nice to be nominated but it’ll be almost impossible to beat EOM
