  1. I don't really understand how it underperforming led to her freedom considering it was the last album in her contract anyway but I'm glad she was able to see it as something good regardless. With it being such a personal album, I feel like it'd be easy for it bombing to hurt more than it usually would, yet she has such a positive outlook on it
  2. Love her down obviously but I kinda saw this coming from a mile away. I'm not some industry expert but I feel like it's common sense not to do another big-scale tour immediately after you finish one? Especially when both tours are for the same album, which didn't really perform all that great
  3. She was probably just name searching lol I don't think it's that deep
  4. I'm surprised she's touring again so soon. Saw another person above point out it'll only be a two-month break between the **** Out tour and this. I'll always love to see her perform, don't get me wrong, but considering how short the gap is, I kind of doubt this will be anything different than what we have rn. I'll be happy to be proven wrong tho. Hope she performs Kinky
  5. I'm a bit biased but I lean more towards Kesha. I think Gaga is easily more consistent, I don't think she has any albums that are as messy as Kesha's High Road, but I think Kesha has higher highs and even a majority of her bad songs are still a bit of an earworm, while with Gaga, she has a quite few that are just super boring
  6. I don't want to judge too quickly because I'm open to the full songs being better than the snippets suggest, but yeah these aren't good like at all imo there's like maybe 5 songs I like max and that's including the singles insanely corny lyrics and most of the production seems to have taken inspiration from the weakest side of Portals. Honestly surprised the album doesn't have a more distinctively unique sound considering this is a whole new character seemingly removed from Cry Baby
  7. I'm assuming the version of it that got played before the concert was the full version, and if it is, then The Chant was literally just a chant. It was the same two phrases repeated for like a full minute, like the leak, but then she sang something different with lower, processed vocals, and then it was back to the same phrases as before for like another minute before the song ended. Definitely felt like it went for 3 minutes
  8. Just got back from the Brisbane show. It was great. She wore a new outfit, she loves herself an ugly one-legged bodysuit, but it was made of mirrors so it looked cool reflecting under the light. Will say she removed like a fair few songs which was really disappointing; there's no Thinking of You, The Drama, Fine Line, Happy, Eat the Acid, or The One. I dunno if maybe it was unique to just Brisbane, or if maybe she removed them earlier in the tour, but I was really excited to hear Happy, it's like one of her best songs :( I think she's the best she's ever sounded tho, hearing Praying and The Cathedral live was so crazy Also The Chant was played repeatedly right before she came on stage. Is that how it's always been? I've never actually seen anyone talk about it. Was just kinda cool to me lol
  9. I personally didn't really like it. Not to say I hated it but I don't think this song suits her voice too well, though tbh I doubt this song fits most people. The verses seem kinda awkward to actually sing. Tbh I'm not a huge fan of Mariah so I'm not entirely sure which song would be a better fit, but I do wish she went with something that'd show off her pipes more
  10. I've always been a little sympathetic towards him. Bipolar—and other personality disorders like it—can really change a person and make them completely unrecognizable. I truly believe that a lot of his behavior is mostly because of his mania. Mania is known to make people believe they're literally a God, so it making someone suddenly have bigoted beliefs isn't exactly far-fetched. It's just sad how his manic episodes are so public and reach so far. But . . . With the timing of everything, I find it hard to really take his word for it. It's hard to think his apology is sincere when he has an album coming out in just a few days. But regardless, I suppose it's a good first step, and only time will tell whether he truly improves or not
  11. There's a version (apparently) produced by Jax Jones that leaked
  12. late af and everyone already moved on but i was at #866 top 0.001%
  13. I'm kinda curious now if she'll say anything more about her politics eventually. I always found the contrast between the roles she does and the way the public perceives her to be kind of odd
  14. that first argument they have is probably gonna be crazy then lol What's the point in lying about something like this
