  1. at least get the name of the tour right if you're going to make a blanket statement saying all the attendees hated it?
  2. i'd love to see her doing something like plastic hearts, but a bit poppier. kinda like some of GUTS by olivia rodrigo, but of course more refined and mature.
  3. i would love for kesha's new project to be pop but a concept album with deeper meaning. i appreciate her returning back to her roots, but i think period falls flat because any generic pop singer could have written some of these lyrics/songs. we barely learn anything new about kesha, which is unfortunate, because what makes kesha interesting to me is her confessional songwriting and emotional excavation. i think kesha creating an album like melodrama would absolutely eat. she can merge the deep and poignant lyricism of gag order with the anthemic pop structures of her youth into a cohesive pop record with storytelling. although, i am open to any genre that she wants to work with. for instance, i would love a full rock or country record! ideally, cohesiveness in narrative and genre is something i value in an album, so i would like to see more of that. i echo the sentiment that having an executive producer or a key collaborator, like she had with rubin on gag order, can really help refine her ideas.
  4. i agree! she's independent and will move more units than she did while on a major record label. though, i'm wondering how many vinyls / cds were sold. there were six variants and store exclusives, but i'm not entirely sure how much stock was available. it's possible her pure sales are being underestimated.
  5. kesha is not projected to debut in the top 10/top 20 of billboard, according to hits daily double's early projections. any ideas on where she'll debut? apparently she is under 22k sales.
  6. i think warrior has higher highs than animal & cannibal. like last goodbye, love into the light, past lives, wonderland... i also feel like the messiness of warrior makes it work for me! tbh, i could be biased because warrior has such a special place in my heart as i was anticipating its release for a while. i also overplayed warrior a lot during the wait from warrior to rainbow so i could be ranking it higher because of nostalgia.
  7. gag order > rainbow > . (period) > warrior > animal & cannibal > high road but this is def subject to change and i think i might have recency bias with period
  8. she even will out peak warrior, which charted at #60 in the UK. absolutely insane that she is doing this completely independent, while she had major record label support as an A-list pop star when warrior released.
  9. true! and we also have more variants than GO release & more available stock. i think around 30K, but could be closer to 25K.
  10. HR's sales were fueled by tour bundles, though. billboard has now banned that so i think the sales will be lower. 25-30k seems reasonable to me?
  11. wait why do you want it lol i feel like the hype sticker is somewhat useless on its own
  12. i personally don't think trashman is about luke. to me, it's about a toxic ex because there are references to sex/sexuality in it
  13. same score as GOD order... oh kesha, how i've never doubted you!!!
  14. i am the other animal!! they are pure camp, escapist pop and i love that side of kesha
