Gays, what is with the Astrology obsession? I just got told that because of my personality, I'm Gemini, knowing full well that I'm a Capricorn. This Astrology worship has moved to DEFCON levels of brainrot at this point, how you attribute the date you were born to your family and relationships dynamics? Like, I have been told for a presentation because I told them, I'm a Capricorn, we won't well together. This getting insane, Am I losing it?????

 

Some random twink at my university told me, that he and his parents don't get along because their star signs are not compatible. I just stared and said, Are you sure? *Confused stare*.  Guess what, he then precedes to try and educate me on why his delusions were accurate. I have bachelor's in science, so I know that Astrology is a pseudo-science i.e it can't be scientifically proven. But this person also is in university and doing Psychology (I asked him), a major that's literal first course debunks Astrology. What the hell is going in the gay community, because 2023 was bad but it feels like Astrology is defacto religion of the gays.

Astrology is fantastic if you pass beyond the clichés, Carl Jung in his studies explored astrology and tarot as tools to uncover and understand your subconscious mind and ancient civilisations have used astrology to predict events and do remember that our solar calendar is based on Astrology.

 

When you explore and understand the energies and meanings behind the planets and asteroids and you can begin to understand aspects of yourself that are hidden, even from you.

 

I started studying astrology a while ago and the more I study, the more I understand a lot of myself and what's going on around me.

I have a problem with this statement 

 

I am heavily pro-science and haven't really navigated through astrology 

 

But science was advanced as it seems, it's still primitive in the sense of explaining a lot of stuff.

 

I'd keep an open mind especially with practices from ancient civilizations that could have been more advanced back then.

 

Just because science can't prove something doesn't mean that something is completely untrue

 

I still agree with your main point that some people who follow astrology take it too far tho.

Well, Astrology is an ancient form of psychology, and it has always existed so. I'm a Sagittarius and many things are accurate based on my personality but I noticed I also match Libra and Scorpio traits.

Sweaty, just accept that you're a Gemini cause you're definitely giving that energy
