Predict the first day/week streaming numbers of Lady Gaga's upcoming album MAYHEM. A few things to consider

  • Chromatica did 45.2 million first day streams and 170.2 million first week streams.
  • MAYHEM is already doing roughly 13-14 million streams daily from Disease, Abracadabra and Die With A Smile, the latter of which you will recall is simultaneously not part of the album (nor would she add it on because she's not that tacky) and also was always intended to be on the album.
  • The current debut records for non-Taylor Swift female albums are Cowboy Carter (76.1 million first day) and Hit Me Hard and Soft (379.5 million first week). Lady Gaga currently holds the all-time records for monthly listeners among female artists. I will leave the excitement of arguing over whether that's an important metric up to you, Little ATRLsters.
  • The Jepsies will be streaming this album, except for Die With A Smile which we shall be strategically boycotting to stop Gaga from stealing Call Me Maybe's 9-week #1 record which she threatened to take back many years ago.

    Considering it had a smash hit already and a very moderate hit I'd say there is no way she can debut under 50m

    Die With a Smile that's been randomly added to Gaga's album is already doing like 10M a day and bringing a lot of attention on her. I feel like it can do around 75M on its first day. It's a big number but it feels possible right now in my opinion.

    These predictions??? are yall being sarcastic? realistically I see some where in the 50 million range which would be great numbers.

    55 million on the lower end, around 65 million if it surprises

     

    I've never predicted weekly streams so I'll keep my first day prediction to about a 57-63 million first day streams
