The thread about Katy's tour sunglasses weren't merged into the Lifetimes tour thread, for example. The thread about 'FKA Twigs acts a mess' wasn't merged into the Eusexua tour thread, so why was the Mayhem tour thread merged?

I feel like some subset of the forum community is very ignorant of the history of the LGBTQ+ community and other members that belong to it, which leads to takes like 'I have NOTHING in common with those transes', 'pronouns are a fad', 'trans people are fairly new' (newsflash - the modern gay identity is barely a century old, but that doesn't mean that gay people didn't exist before, the same with trans people who just operated differently before HRT/SRS became possible and didn't label themselves as such) and so on. I appreciate the staff's commitment to weeding out the bad apples, but maybe something can be done about educating the members? A pinned thread in the Civics/The Lounge section with the resources (links) on the history of the community, for example. I remember someone making 'Ask a trans person' thread a couple of years ago, which also seemed like a nice tool to educate people and dispel certain misconceptions. Of course, there will always be those who are proud of their ignorance and won't bother interacting with such threads, but I think that some people could still benefit from them.

"mass downvoting" when it's just because you are rightfully getting downvoted on your many spam posts on one page of a thread alone (eg https://atrl.net/forums/topic/499594-day-19-spotify-mayhem-163m-unfiltered-1454m-second-week/page/97/) 

 

you routinely unload dislikes over posts created days/weeks/months apart in different threads, that's different behavior

I mean, if there's someone doing it to you the answer isn't just to do it back to unsuspecting folks?

 

Seems more like your problem is with admins for not addressing that user and you're taking it out on others
