This was a talk show segment where Wendy was trying to explain the differences in American vernaculars and she also did a valley girl accent in the same clip. Unless we're trying to say that it was racist of her to act white too then it's clear that the intent was not to make a mockery out of black folk. This was controversial though and she apologized for the way it came off at a fan signing after the fact. If you watch the entire clip she's visibly uncomfortable at the man who's taking it much further and singularly focusing on imitating black people.

This is behind the scenes of a photoshoot where he was painted black, white, and red to match the editions of his album. Most of the photoshoot was then scrapped and replaced with similar images but without the body paint.

Despite making a conscious decision not to stream him anymore a few years ago, he's still probably my most streamed artist of all time by a wide margin. I really know what I'm talking about when I say:

 

He thinks the response he gets for acting out is evidence that he's some kind of paragon of free thinking and also still relevant. The backlash feeds his delusions and he's going to keep having episodes until society moves on from being outraged at this man.

 

People who actually know him personally like the Carters and Kardashians are ignoring the outbursts for a reason.
