girl…. there was no "flood" 😭 how is that even a likeable/unlikeable criteria for anyone? y'all are so interesting sometimes... the main page was slow af compared to literally any other site and only refreshed every 382858384 minutes, so i figured out a bypass with posting a "." and deleting it after making a thread, which forces the homepage to refresh for everyone. that's not a flood. deleting a single dot in 2025 should not be a heavy lift for any website. pleaseeee let's stop and think for a sec 🙏🏻

You didn't force anything. The cache was set to be every X minutes, not based on the latest thread. You were asked to stop, you didn't. You were being annoying. I know you like to think you're so self important that you and you alone are the reason for the change, but it wasn't. People regularly hid threads when they were being down voted, they'd post inflammatory things and hid the posts thinking it would avoid a ban. When it was just a few people we made a separate permission for them. Unfortunately it continued and became a wider spread problem. So the ability was removed across the board.

Not you too…  so disappointing, but not surprising. I never said that or started this myself. People said it and pinned it on me because of your "no flood" tag and the way you acted afterwards, that's what started all of this.

 

My post on this page literally explains how "one user removing something for an entire website" is ridiculous and asks people to think it through which contradicts what you said. I only showed up here because someone brought the topic up again, I got mentioned, then pinged, this keeps happening because of that old tag you gave me. So I don't think you're in any position to say "I know you like to think you're so self important that you alone caused the change", when in reality you created this narrative.

 

Please, let's just move on. I hate coming into this thread and having to discuss anything here.
