TGI was one of my favorite albums of last year but I know Columbia saw the performance (especially with Halsey being a new act for them) and told her to get back into the studio

This genuinely sounds better than her entire album

I mean if she was chasing commercial success i'm sure she wouldn't release an album like TGI

 

That one meltdown she had on Tumblr wasn't bc of the chart performance itself, it was mostly towards "stans" who kept saying **** about her and her appearance and weren't supporting her music.... which it would be frustrating for any artist. She's just very outspoken

 

This probably will flop too but she's having fun and her fans will love it, so

She released a pure pop bop (So Good) and flopped anyway so at this point she can release whatever she likes despite having success or not

Judging by the snippet that we have, this feels like an 80s/90s inspired song. I wonder if these new songs will also be categorised by decades like the digital exclusive tracks.
