I listened to it 3 times and I figured it out - it's good but there's 2 big issues… It's literally ESV if it was produced better; which isn't a bad thing but it's not that new The lead was misleading

On my first listen I was a little underwhelmed but after my second, I think it's really fierce. I will say tho, I have no idea why people put Neon Lights so low on their rankings and Snow so high? Neon Lights is like a fun, midtempo sex jam and Snow is quite literally the sound Miley always gets dragged for doing lol

I'm PRAYING she drops this singer-songwriter type sound she always has on her albums and leans more into the sound the suits her more (sports car, bloodonmyhands, like I do, anything but love, etc). But I think she is cause her lollapalooza set had great production and she tease something that said about her dropping her old sound

It's too hard to ever predict anybody as the "next main pop girl." But that being said, she's definitely blowing up and could be in the higher ranks if her label does their job. Also, despite what Twitter or ATRL says, Nicole Kidman is a smash and I literally see people on my socials posting it actually every day lol

The more I've listened, especially in my car, the more it's hit. It's a whole different feel, it's more subtle and cooler. It's excellent

That I agree with. She does her best on punchy or REALLY fast paced **** - I just don't like her voice on ballads

It's actually an excellent summer pop album if you chop off like the 3 boring songs. Flowers, Jaded, Rose Colored Lenses, River, You, Handstand, Violet Chemistry, and Island specifically are all GREAT pop songs!!

KGB, Nicole Kidman, Boys, Marijuana, & Ain't In La are all GREAT pop songs, she gagged with those Fantasize & Starving Artist are fine, but I don't see myself going back much. The rest… we didn't need lol

The upbeat songs are really good but duh, it's Ellie lol Tbh I wish the album was longer if we were gonna have so many slow songs - it's all good but I don't see myself returning

Okay, I've listened again and I think more than anything, it's just disappointing… Most of this album just lacks identity or anything that I really wanna go back to. That being said, I don't think anything is like BAD and some of y'all are doing the most LMFAO It's clear that the label wanted music that was more palatable for a younger audience and to give her a larger appeal - which I do think this will do. Nicole Kidman, Boys, & Marijuana are all fab though!!

So I don't think this album is bad, it's just very obvious that they wanted something that will get her young fans lol. I think the album is 50/50 - Nicole Kidman, Boys, Fantasize, Starving Artist, Marijuana, and Ain't In La are all solid but the rest are soooooo whatever

I unfortunately think that Tate's last album has more personality than this album lol
