• Produce 101: He was supposed to be the center they rigged it to put someone else (that MIRAE guy) instead.
• Brand New Music: His own company CEO revealed he was supposed to debut in AB6IX, but was replaced for another member.
• BDC debuted but wasn't a priority, it was just a side project, the main group was supposed to debut later.
• YOUNITE debuted but none of the BDC members were part of the line up, worse they disbanded BDC (although give them the right to use the name for the group)
• Fast forward PSY debuting his girlgroup Baby DON'T Cry, produced by Jeon Soyeon, PSY Giggling on TV saying his friend Rhymer gave him for free the right to use the acronym BDC for the group, and Blocking Kim Sihun & his members to use it now.

The whole thing was orchestrated by anti-fans, some of whom have already been sentenced to YEARS in prison. It was completely manufactured. This whole scandal surfaced posts by a politician's son of a disturbingly violent and sexual nature about Karina, which antis reposted as a joke. A user here on ATRL from Korea even said they don't care about the sexual harassment and kept attacking Karina.

I did not call for any physical violence against jk. I made a single post about his actions and a few about Karina. This is completely made up. The fact that this user is apparently outraged at Karina wearing a red jacket but is pretending to not see the significance of wearing blue speaks for itself. This is a bad actor.

I believe Karina using symbols in her own post that are recognized by everyone in her own country, and during election week is far more open to speculation than JK wearing a hat with an American presidential slogan adapted for Tokyo during rehearsals. And yet, his apology letter is still much more direct than Karina's. It clearly addressed the issue and took responsibility.

 

That said, I still think it is a dumb and airheaded move for a 28-year-old man to remain ignorant about global affairs. As public figures, they should be aware of what's happening in the world, especially when those events affect millions of lives.

 

Also, @BellKat explained it really well above. If JK had knowingly worn that hat with full awareness of the situation, it could've led to far more serious issues than just people wondering, "Is she conservative?", the way they did with Karina. Their situations are not really that similar.

 

Yet, we both called him dumb. Something you never did with Karina. "She also had something blue in that post" is just lame as hell. OK, then. Jungkook's hat is black. Case closed. That's what you sound like 

 

I'm sure there are people babying JK on Twitter. But we never did that. We don't have a habit of defending privileged and out-of-touch millionaires like you. Also, none of us insulted Karina or Aespa the way you did with Jungkook and BTS in that one post. We are just not the same 

Karina used "symbols" for both parties during election week, she apologized for any misunderstandings twice, took down the post within minutes, SM has sent people to jail. Any assertion that Karina made any political endorsement is misinformation. It doesn't show because of the way quoting works on here but I included SM's statement announcing legal action against anti-My in one of my posts in the jk thread. This is not a defensible opinion anymore, it is patently false. This is a public forum and users are intentionally spreading misinformation about somebody, after it has been ruled by a court of law that these allegations are manufactured.

 

 

Especially in the context of this specific exchange, the posts in the other thread that these users were whining about, included very calmly and factually explaining what happened with Karina. There is no possible excuse here that these users did not know they were breaking real life laws when they perpetuated lies about Karina. There were STILL as many posts dragging Karina for wearing the color red in here yesterday as there were dragging jk for wearing a literal hate symbol. There should not be any false equivalency made between Karina wearing both red and blue during election week then pulling the post immediately and jk wearing an imperialist japan maga hat. It is offensive and literally illegal.

This is another knowing lie about my actions. The thread is still up, I encourage you to go look at what posts I liked. There were plenty of people just insulting jk, I did not like those posts. I liked a couple of serious posts respectfully explaining the meaning of the hat to troll army's, another one asking for the op of the thread to have their thread privileges taken away, and a bunch of posts setting the record straight about Karina.

 

 

 

 

 

All of this is to say, you have let a certain few users slide with blatantly lying about and personally attacking me whenever they feel victimized in a fanwar SO many times, that people who aren't even a part of the core group of frequent posters in this thread have picked up on it and are starting to just accuse me of things that never happened and getting their friends to mass downvote my responses. This is only going to continue if you don't stop it, this is not even the only instance of it in recentt weeks. PLEASE do something about it, this has become such a ridiculous and perpetual issue. There's a difference between the typical SYG'd way of acting in this base and just blatantly lying. I'm really fed up with this. Everybody is fed up with this. I'm not going to stop defending myself so something needs to be done here.

 

 

There's a reason this freak came after me and not the users who were making numerous negative posts about jk and it has nothing to do with anything I said about him. It's because I've been making shady posts about how my fav is more popular than BTS in Korea and because lying about and ganging up on me is something you've allowed 50 times too many.
