Eh no. Them not addressing because of publicity is also a tone death thing to say. Especially when kpop notoriously appropriates black culture while also being highly racist. If anything them addressing could've led to internal changes in the trainee programs with education and respect. It sucks that because KOL is the smaller and newer group that they're taking a majority of the heat. Essentially scapegoats for an issue that's actually entirely on the whole industry in itself. I hope that girls really reflect and learn from this. I think that they can bounce back but also shame on the company for approving of this.

NewJeans literally tied Big Bang's legendary 2015 year end chart domination position for position, but on their 2nd year instead of their 10th. I will always love GD and 2NE1 infinitely more but facts are just facts. If Korea waited a decade for the YG acts, they'll wait another 5 years for NJZ who had just as big of a domestic peak.
