The way I find NCT 127 so unappealing now. Never thought I'd see the day. Obviously once they record new music, they can cater to the current members; but they do not sound good performing older songs. Also, Haechan's voice sounds even more annoying and unseasoned than before. Did the vocal coaches leave SM also?

Yeah exactly like...why are some people (it's the same few users btw) acting like they can speak on IVE's "downfall" with illogical essays and hot takes noone asked for? Lmao they're fine. If the main title track doesn't do well like Baddie then there is maybe room to worry but Korea still loves them. Yeah their global spotify numbers performance is kinda directly related to the bombastic pop-perfection quality of their songs like Love Dive, After Like, I Am etc. but that only means they just need to bring that back. Rebel Heart isn't bad by any means, it just doesnt live up to the big pop moments of their former title tracks and that's it. Some of yall are doing way too much while writing them off.

NJ deserved TTH because they were organically popular from the start. They destroy LSF in every metric. Yet somehow LSF happens to be getting more playlisting than Aespa (despite doing worse). Let's not act like they aren't massive label pushes.

 

NJ were promoted as MHJ's new girl group. BTS fans latched on when they became commercially successful. It's not NJ's fault that nobody latched onto LSF's troubled debut.
