I agree with you, but after debuting SNSD + f(x) within 2 years of each other, SM has avoided debuting GGs so close to each other ever since, probably to avoid overshadowing. 

 

RV, aespa and SMNGG have gaps of 5+ years between them, but maybe SM 3.0 will change that. 

 

And yes I think they will be urgently investigating when they can launch SMNBG since RIIZE will be very difficult (but not Impossible.mp3) to salvage now.
