This narrative of "oh we can't expect them to know it's offensive" is a major cop out when they are engaging in culture vulturism. 

Its also a self-defeating argument coming from kpop stans since we stan a much much much more niche culture than hip hop is and consume fully translated songs and interviews that take time to clarify concepts that simple translations might not pick up on. If something isn't immediately understandable off a basic translation, either the translator or the fans will pick up the slack and explain what's going on. You really can't separate American rap music from the plight of black people and there's no way to begin to wrap your head around the classics without a basic understanding.

 

I can see how some really early adopters of rap like Psy and Epik High might have missed the problematic angle of using the n word off of the logic that they aren't white too but by the time there was global kpop fans, there was people speaking out about how they really can't say that. In an industry obsessed with optics there's really no excuse for that word coming up in any professional context after the labels were aware(which as a GD stan, I can confirm, YG has been OVERWHELMINGLY aware since I got into kpop with the release of GD&TOP).

It could be the a-side of the video without other sets/clips spliced or without effects and full editing

Though it just looks like there's an LED screen behind them which is pretty reminiscent of DDD where it's literally 5 sets total (except the shitty plastic pillars have better editing on them and darker lighting to hide how cheap they look)
