Unfortunately, it was known since January that SM did not let her participate in the album recording, for unknown reasons.

 

She is also not attending SMTOWN concerts. Hopefully SM gives an update on the contract because it's frustrating.

Anyway the more i listen to the chase i think the song will have a chance to explode from the get go, its boring repetitive but in a mysterious catchy kinda way...red velvet had much complexs sounds and layers to their song so sometimes the song wasnt for everyone....but the chase is very...idk how to discribe it its like rv songs in a simple catchy way... Thts why the first time i hear it my mind automaticly remember of magnetic... The instrument, the vibe...

 

But yeah the song is very catchy...
