Can we talk about how Hybe is doing Katseye wrong with their usual garbled vocal producing that makes all the members sound the same? They have distinctive voices in reality but I am still finding it hard to distinguish them in any of these songs

Hmm... this one might be a rare aespa grower instead of instant smasha, for me.

 

They have proven to be incredibly versatile, and maybe this will just take some getting used to. For what it's worth, I absolutely loved their other rap-focused tracks like Drama and Armageddon. Those are classics

Famous is already losing power against them, so I wouldn't be so sure.

 

#1 is definitely not a reach. They are almost certainly struck with the #2 curse though, so we'll see

That is true but imo, balanced by a use of vocals. The contrast and levels in their music is part of their greatness and is what makes their songs interesting and unique to them.

I do like Whiplash & Supernova but for me peak Aespa is Armageddon, Savage, Drama etc

 

Maybe this direction sound is more GP friendly and that's why they are going there. Dirty Work is their first ever track that's a complete miss for me but oh well. The response to the song seems pretty lukewarm online so far putting myself aside, so I'm definitely not alone here and it may not have longevity like their other enormous smashes from last year

He’d have had to trademark his name in Korea, which I doubt he did. Just because you trademark something in one country doesn’t mean it extends to all.
