Not y'all expecting a K-Pop girl group artist's solo effort to have 3+ minute long songs, come on now. 
Her fans are the Tik Tok generation, 3-4 minute songs would be strange for the type of songs she's been releasing.

Of course are Charli XCX fan is ok with ringtone for an album 🙄 kpop soloist still do put out songs with bridges and over 3 minutes. This lazy ass short attention span excuse based on app for kids is a lame ass excuse. Especially for her when she's clearly trying to prove her ARTISTRY as a soloist. So yes these interludes for songs won't do. Since when is having proper storytelling and a complete song strange? Quick lil hits isn't what she should be aiming for if she's actually trying to make it and be successful long term as an artist

Dissapointed with the song lengths, it works in some cases like Rockstar, but New Woman feels way too short, it is too good to end that fast

 

It makes sense if she really is going for a 'tiktok' artist career, its just sad because I really hoped there would be some artistry. 

 

Still perched tho and will buy on release day

Reducing an artist to being a "tiktok artist" just because they have shorter songs is weirdly disrespectful. Songs were really short in the 50s/60s because of vinyls, grew to their longest in the 80s/90s with tapes and CDs and now they've gone back to being short in the streaming era. **** changes.

This started as the most promising BP solo album rollout to a disaster imo. Why would you wait so long after New Woman and Rockstar to get the project out? Why is she doing these corny "alter egos" when she's supposed to be introducing herself to the world? Born Again allegedly not on the album? Boring album cover? 

Like I'm not trying to whack my girl too hard it is just kind of shocking all around how this has played out

She's under RCA and they used the "up and coming girl" strategy: multiple singles before the album hoping something will stick, but at least we'll end up with 5-6 singles after all.

 

And the Alter Egos concept is just an excuse for her to release multiple versions and boost physical sales 

 

I feel like they're just playing the game... short songs, multiple versions, multiple singles, long-ass pre-orders. Expect digital bonus tracks exclusive to her website during album's release week too. Everyone is doing it
