without APT is 23M (all solo songs)

I mean for sure it would have done better if the album came out faster (its been 8 months since rockstar ) and if it didnt leak but these numbers are still weird
Even if its not a gp smash album, just the fanbase alone should carry the first day numbers atleast

It would be higher combined with the solo version

The album was a slight letdown for me with how strong Rockstar and New Woman were. 

 

I think the concept was interesting and had a lot of potential. Someone mentioned it earlier that "Lisa" in BP is a persona and I feel like she had a hard time balancing expectations of who Lisa is inside/outside of Blackpink. 

 

It was really exciting to see some of her dance choreos and her personal taste in music was very R&B heavy, would have loved to see more of that.

 

Hoping for a second Lisa project!

What's alarming is that Lisa only got 2 songs from the new album on the Spotify chart. I think the problem with Eff Up the World is that it's a hardcore rap song and the type of song that doesn't relate to her fanbase.

I think Spotify might Filtered a lot of streams. That's the only explanation that I can think atm

It depends who it is. Rosé & Jisoo's solos are entirely skips for me because I don't like that poppy ****. A lot of people, me included, got into Blackpink because of the edge that Lisa & Jennie bring so some of their solos are bearable. They just need to grow away from Teddy now and put as much love and time into a group album as they have with their solos, but they're being rushed on tour so they won't

That's not the problem though. You need to stream the album to know whether the songs are good or not so she should still have a good debut like she always does, then the songs can nosedive on day 2
